About us
Many of our ancestors fled war, poverty, and hardships from Greece, seeking opportunity and a better life for their families. In doing so, they left behind familiar surroundings, loved ones, and a way of life, all in the hope of providing us with a brighter future in America. It’s our responsibility and honor to remember their struggles and preserve the culture that gave them strength.
In Greek Orthodox culture, faith and tradition aren’t just practices—they’re the heartbeat of our heritage. From honoring holy days to speaking the (modern) language of our ancestors, these customs unite us and root us in a deep sense of identity and belonging. Passing them down to our children isn’t just meaningful—it’s essential.
